Health warning as men believe they are 2in slimmer they actually are

Experts unveiled research last night showing that many men underestimate the size of their waistlines.


The YouGov poll proves that most men believe their waist size to be more than 2in slimmer than the English average of 37.9in.

This news has caused for concern, as few are unaware of the damage their bulging waistlines are causing them.


The implications of being overweight can make you more susceptible to cancer, type 2diabetes and heart disease.

Health experts say men should have a waist of no more than 40in – ideally below 37in.
